Backing up Microsoft (Office) 365 Guide

You must be the Microsoft 365 administrator for your domain or have access to their account to complete this guide.

Login to the client area at Backoops Client Area



Enter your e-mail address and password that were used when you signed up.



Click on the Cyber backup



Click on the Get One Time Secure Login Link



Once the link turns green click on it again



Click on the Cyber Protection Icon



Click in the Devices tab



Click on the add button


The Add devices sidebar will open scroll down until you see the Microsoft Office 365 Business, click the Microsoft Office 365 Business icon



Click on office 365 Worldwide



You then have to sign on to your Microsoft administration account, enter the e-mail address and click next



Enter the password for your account



The required permissions will be added to your Microsoft account once you click the Accept button



The Microsoft office 365 account is now registered with the backup portal, click the X to close the activity details tab.



Now refresh the page and click on the Microsoft Office 365 tab under devices



Click on the Groups icon



Click on the select all groups box ti backup all groups


Click on the Backup icon



If you wish to backup the archive mailbox toggle the following switch (recommended)



To turn on Encryption  flick the toggle switch to on (usually off), otherwise leave it off.
If Encryption is turned on you will not be able to search backups for specific files, if this is important to you do not enable it.



Click the APPLY button to apply the protection plan for the Mailboxes



The Mailbox backup is now scheduled, click on the X on the ALL groups tab to close tab



Click on the Site Collections Icon and then click the select all sites checkbox to backup all sites.



Now click the backup icon



Click the APPLY button to apply the protection plan



Click on Users and then click on the select all users check box to backup all users



Now Click on the Backup icon 



Change the following drop selection box from mailboxes to OneDrive

Click the APPLY button to apply the protection policy and schedule the backup



Your Microsoft Office 365 is now fully protected
